Significant progress has been made across the Blue Hills Subdivision and the adjoining Rose Street upgrade as our team continues to deliver essential infrastructure for this growing area of Blenheim. Managed by our expert drain layer and site manager, Dave Gill, the project covers both the critical watermain upgrade works along Rose Street and the early-stage civil works for the new Blue Hills residential development.

Upgrading Rose Street’s Water Network
Ahead of the subdivision works, we completed a major upgrade to the existing water supply network along Rose Street. The upgrade involved replacing the existing pipeline with a new 250mm water main, strengthening capacity and future-proofing the area for the increased demand from the new development.
The installation required a series of critical, high-complexity connections to tie the new main into multiple existing lines. These works were carried out while maintaining water supply to the surrounding residential areas, requiring careful staging, precision planning, and robust safety management.

Blue Hills Subdivision – Civil Works Underway
Following the completion of the access road, our team has moved into the subdivision itself, where we are delivering the civil works for the first three stages. This new neighbourhood will accommodate about 60 new homes, and our focus is currently on trenching and installing key underground services, including:
These installations form the backbone of the subdivision, supporting both the immediate construction phases and the long-term resilience of the development.
Moving Forward
With major network upgrades completed and subdivision works well underway, this project represents a significant contribution to Blenheim’s ongoing residential growth. As the first three stages advance, we look forward to continuing to deliver safe, high-quality infrastructure that will support the community for decades to come.
