His passion for customer service and maintaining a tidy environment makes him an invaluable member of our landscape yard team. In his spare time he’s just finished building his own home and preparing for the arrival of his first baby. Weluke Gutsell - Civil Operator
Recently, CMT Group aquired JJS drilling which came with the expert directional drill operator, Weluke and his father John Gutsell.
Weluke has just over 10 years experience across Australasia installing fibre, power, gas and water via directional drilling.
He's skilled at operating drills from five to sixty thousand pounds, either Vermeer or Ditch Witch.
Nirmalendran Nerooshan – Senior Quantity Surveyor

Making a significant move from Brunei to sunny Blenheim, Nerooshan is our expert Senior Quantity Surveyor. Armed with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in QS and project management from the UK, he's essential to delivering outstanding value in our project tenders and variations. A Sri Lankan native, he’s got a good cricket arm and is looking forward to a summer filled of sport!
Rob Miller – Construction site Manager
Rob is a dynamic leader within our construction team. Joining us a few months ago, Rob quickly made an impact and was nominated for Employee of the Quarter during our spirited TOAST celebrations. This nomination speaks volumes about his dedication and contribution to our projects. We’re so lucky to have him leading one of our construction teams to get large builds completed on time and to budget. Rob recently helped at our tree planting day with his family – an all-round good bloke that we’re happy to have on our team.
Ben Cameron – HSQE Field Advisor
Ben has joined us to enhance health and safety for our extensive projects across the South Island. As our HSQE Field Advisor, he's committed to keeping our team safe, both on and off the job. Ben's dedication extends to his spare time, where he volunteers for the Blenheim Rural Fire Force. We're delighted to have Ben on board and affiliated with FENZ.
Georgette Rice - Administration Enthusiast
Georgette is passionate about administration and thrilled to join her CMT Group family. With a keen eye for detail and exceptional planning skills, she ensures our team stays organized and focused. Georgette's vibrant energy brings a refreshing boost to our office team in Blenheim.
Colin Anderson – Project Manager
Colin, our seasoned Project Manager, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to oversee our commercial builds. Despite having retirement plans, Colin's passion for the industry pulled him back into project management.
His spare time is a blend of revisiting Nelson and enjoying the serene Marlborough Sounds on his boat.

New to our team, Abhay is a Project Manager with an extensive background in civil work, including dams, land development, canals, roading, and trenching. Abhay is excited to be a part of the iReX Project, contributing to a significant development in New Zealand's infrastructure.
