Nestled at the base of the Wither Hills in Blenheim, an impressive new home has earned top honours in the Registered Master Builders ‘House of the Year’ awards. Built by Peter Ray Homes, the ‘Long Ridge Love’ property on Marlborough Ridge has been recognised as one of the best new builds in the Nelson/Marlborough/West Coast region, receiving a gold award.
What it takes to win gold
To win a gold award, a home must score at least 90 out of 100 during judging and be 80% better than the industry standard. This achievement highlights the high quality and craftsmanship of the ‘Long Ridge Love’ home.
Our contribution
We worked on the exterior of this award-winning property, on the recommendation of Peter Ray Homes. Our team handled the concreting, paving, and construction of a block retaining wall, turning the outdoor space into a functional and stylish patio.
The work was managed by project manager Adam Carrington and civil leading Hand James Stagg. Reflecting on the project, Adam said, “We’re pleased to have been involved in such an exceptional residential project. We worked along side Peter Ray Homes and the homeowners to ensure the clients are happy with the results.”
