Fresh faces in 2024

The new year brings with it some new faces around CMT Group. Let's extend a warm welcome to the new members joining our growing team.

Gareth

Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveying BSc (Hons)

Gareth joined the team as our newest Quantity Surveyor at the start of 2024.

Having worked on numerous construction projects here in NZ, Gareth enjoys the competition of tendering, together with seeing a project through to the finish to ensure a positive outcome for all key stakeholders.

Gareth is passionate about learning new skills within and outside of his work life. When he’s not working, Gareth can be found spending time with his son or enjoying several hobbies including beekeeping and astrophotography.

Andrew

Andrew joined the Total Tactilez team at the start of 2024, taking over managing our TTZ warehouse in Auckland.

Andrew previously owned his own small business and has previous work experience across several different operational roles, making him a great fit for our team.

When not working, Andrew is very family-focused and enjoys spending time with his wife and one-year-old daughter every day.

Tyrone

Sales support

Tyrone jumped on board at the end of 2023 fresh from completing high school.

Having previously spent time working as a yard hand carrying out machine maintenance, Tyrone is enjoying settling into his first full-time job. He has been enjoying all the learning opportunities and new skills in his role.

When not in the office, Tyrone can often be found out in the native bush on the tramping tracks or even trying his hand out as an amateur fisherman.

Harry:

Harry joined the team in late 2023 looking for a change of pace closer to home.

Having moved to New Zealand from Australia in 2019, Harry has been working hard to try his hand at a number of trades. He has experience in tiling, bricklaying, carpentry, retail, landscaping and pier construction. He is expanding his diverse skill set by trying his hand at the Civil industry.

When not at work, Harry spends his time with family or playing sports. With a two-year-old son and a baby girl on the way, Harry is happy to be working close to home. When not playing sports himself, Harry enjoys watching his favourite teams across the NBA, AFL and Australian Test cricket.
