International best practice! We've achieved ISO accreditation

This year marks an important milestone for CMT Group and Haptix – we’ve achieved certification across three internationally recognised ISO standards:

• ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems
• ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems
• ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

These certifications represent more than just compliance – they’re proof of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, safe working environments, and responsible environmental management across every part of our business.

Why ISO Accreditation Matters

In the construction and civil industries, ISO accreditation is more than a box-ticking exercise -it’s a benchmark for excellence.
Projects in our sector demand precision, coordination, and accountability. From large-scale infrastructure to complex urban developments, there’s no room for shortcuts.

Achieving ISO certification means our clients, partners, and suppliers can trust that we’re operating to globally recognised standards – delivering projects that are:

  • Safe: Systems and procedures minimise risks and protect everyone on site.
  • Efficient: Workflows are clearly defined, reducing delays, rework, and waste.
  • Sustainable: Environmental impacts are identified and responsibly managed.
  • Consistent: Quality is maintained from planning through to completion.

The process is rigorous. Independent auditors review every layer of our business to ensure that what we do – and how we do it – aligns with the best international practices. It’s a signal to our clients and partners that CMT Group and Haptix take our responsibilities seriously, both on and off the job site.

ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management

ISO 9001 focuses on creating systems that deliver consistent quality and continual improvement. In an industry where even minor errors can have major consequences, this certification ensures we have robust checks and processes in place.

For CMT Group and Haptix, it means every step – from design and procurement through to construction and installation – is governed by clear quality management systems. This drives efficiency, reduces waste, and gives our clients confidence that every project will meet or exceed expectations.

ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management

Construction has a significant impact on the environment, which makes proactive management essential. ISO 14001 provides a structured framework for reducing environmental risk, improving resource efficiency, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

This certification supports our ongoing commitment to minimising waste, reducing carbon emissions, and making responsible material and design choices. It reflects our long-term focus on building not only for today, but for the future – balancing progress with protection of the environment.

ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety

Safety is at the heart of every successful project. ISO 45001 ensures that robust health and safety systems are in place to protect workers, contractors, and the public. It promotes leadership engagement, clear communication, and active worker participation.

For CMT Group and Haptix, it confirms our dedication to providing safe, healthy, and supportive workplaces. From on-site risk management to staff training and wellbeing initiatives, we’re focused on making sure every person involved in our projects goes home safely at the end of each day.

Why These Standards Matter for the Future

The construction and civil industries are evolving – clients are seeking greater transparency, regulators are tightening standards, and communities expect responsible business practices. ISO certification positions us at the forefront of that change. By embedding quality, safety, and sustainability into everything we do, we’re not just meeting requirements – we’re helping raise the standard for the industry as a whole.

A Commitment to Continuous Improvement

These certifications reflect the dedication of our entire team and their commitment to excellence in every aspect of our work. By achieving these international standards, we’re not just celebrating a milestone – we’re building a stronger, safer, and more sustainable future for our people, our clients, and our communities.
