Project Overview

CMT Group has completed infrastructure works for Stages 10 and 11 of the Rose Manor Subdivision in Blenheim, working alongside Deluxe Property Group to extend this established residential development.

The project forms part of the continued expansion of Rose Manor, a premium neighbourhood in Marlborough. The completed works provide the infrastructure required to support approximately 50 new homes, helping prepare the development for the next stage of residential construction.

Scope of Works

The project involved delivering a range of civil infrastructure works to support the new residential sections and their connection to the surrounding development.

Key elements included:

• Roading infrastructure: Construction of new roads and connections to support access throughout the development.
• Roundabouts: Installation of two new roundabouts as part of the development's road network.
• Stormwater management: Construction of new drainage ponds to support the subdivision's drainage infrastructure.
• Underground services: Installation of underground infrastructure to service the development.
• Footpaths: Construction of pedestrian pathways to support movement through the neighbourhood.

Together, these works establish the infrastructure needed to progress the development from prepared sections to residential construction.

Project Challenges and Delivery

The Rose Manor project has been ongoing for some time, with weather conditions and dewatering requirements presenting challenges during the early stages of construction.

These conditions led to an agreed pause in the project while the challenges were addressed. The team adapted to the circumstances and continued working towards completion, ultimately delivering the infrastructure required for the next phase of development.

The successful completion of Stages 10 and 11 marks an important milestone for the project, with the subdivision now ready for homes to be built.

Supporting Marlborough's Growth

Subdivision infrastructure plays an important role in enabling residential development. Before homes can be built, the underlying infrastructure must be delivered to support access, drainage, services and connectivity.

With Rose Manor Stages 10 and 11 complete, approximately 50 new homes can progress towards construction, contributing to the ongoing development of the Blenheim area.

This year has seen a strong focus on subdivision construction, with Rose Manor representing the company's second completed project preparing residential developments for housing this year, alongside several other subdivision projects currently underway.
