Go Bus Installations:

The first of the EV installation undertakings was completed in Christchurch for the company Go Bus. The CMT Group crew installed 25 EV chargers at the Go Bus depot on Maces Road. Each charger has the capability to charge two buses at a time, entirely cutting off the need for fossil fuels in Go Buses' new fleet.

Petrol station Christchurch Locations:

Within the Christchurch area, the CMT team have completed the civil work for the installation of ten EV charging units, providing power to up to 20 vehicles at any one time. Seven chargers were installed at BP locations while the three others were installed at two Z locations. Almost all these locations were set up so that additional chargers can be added easily in future as demand increases.

The locations include:

-Edgeware BP, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-Fendalton BP, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-Marshlands BP, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-QE II BP, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-Ravenswood, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-Rolleston, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-Russley, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-Sawyers Arms Road Z, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-Shirly Z, Where two charging units with four charging bays were installed.

Petrol station wider Canterbury Locations:

Within the larger Canterbury area, the team were involved in installing four chargers. Providing power for up to eight vehicles at any one time. These were installed across three BP’s in different towns, two in Southern Canterbury and one North of Christchurch.

These locations include:

-Timaru BP, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-Ashburton BP, where two charging units with two charging bays were installed.

-Rangiora BP, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

Petrol station Tasman/Marlborough Locations:

The top of the South also received the CMT Group EV treatment. Our Christchurch team consisting of seasoned civil operator Ian and father and son team Efren and Jeremy made the trip up. They installed a total of six chargers between Marlborough and Nelson.

These included:

-Blenheim BP, where one charging unit with two charging bays was installed.

-Picton Z, where two charging units with four charging bays were installed.

-Nelson BP, where three charging units with six charging bays were installed.
