The contract was for $251k. The extra work came about for unanticipated strengthening and extra jobs as required by the client. This included internal signage and a change of aluminium joinery design.

Due to CMT Group being able to provide civil as well as building capabilities in-house, we offered the principal greater value for money and cost control, as well as the quality assurance that our inhouse qualified staff bring. 

We came into this project with an open mind for this extension, as the area had contaminated soil. We used our expertise to remove this to allow our build to proceed. A design fault meant we had to innovate a new roof so the windows could open. Our suggested box gutter system solved this problem, and the client was extremely happy with the result.

We were able to work on a confined site with public access that remained fully operational throughout, and we had to be very conscious of the public especially with cars for car wash on site.
